Zaloplus Account Deletion Policy

This policy explains how Zaloplus handles the deletion of user accounts. We are committed to protecting your privacy and providing transparency about data handling.

1. Account Deletion Request

Users can request deletion of their Zaloplus account by contacting us through support@zalopus.com. The request must include the user's registered email address or username associated with the account.

2. Verification

To protect user accounts, we will verify the identity of the person making the deletion request. This may involve requesting additional information to confirm account ownership.

3. Data Removal

Upon successful verification, we will permanently delete the user's account and associated data, including:

  • Personal Information: Name, email address, phone number, address(es), etc.
  • Order History: Past orders, including details of items purchased, delivery addresses, and payment information.
  • Saved Addresses: Addresses stored for delivery purposes.
  • Payment Information: Saved payment methods (if applicable and securely stored).
  • Profile Information: Any information provided by the user in their profile.
  • Reviews and Ratings: Any reviews or ratings submitted by the user.

4. Data Retention (Exceptions)

In certain limited circumstances, we may be legally required to retain some data for a specific period, even after an account deletion request. This may include data related to financial transactions for accounting purposes or to comply with other legal obligations. In such cases, we will minimize the data retained and ensure it is kept secure. We will notify the user if any data needs to be retained for legal reasons.

5. Timeframe

We will make every effort to process account deletion requests promptly, typically within 7 business days. Users will be notified once the deletion is complete.

6. Account Reactivation

Once an account is deleted, it cannot be reactivated. If a user wishes to use Zaloplus again, they will need to create a new account.

7. Third-Party Services

If you have connected your Zaloplus account to any third-party services (e.g., social media logins), you may need to disconnect those services separately. We are not responsible for the data policies of these third-party services.
