1 Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are dynamic and calculated based on:

• Distance between the restaurant and your delivery location
• Demand volume and delivery partner availability
• Weather conditions
• Rain surcharge or special environmental conditions

The final delivery charge is clearly displayed at checkout before order confirmation. Once paid and dispatched, delivery charges are non-refundable.

2 Rain and Special Condition Surcharge

During rain, bad weather, or high-demand periods, an additional surcharge may apply. This surcharge directly supports delivery partners and ensures order fulfillment during difficult conditions. Applicable surcharges are shown prior to payment.

3 Delivery Time

Estimated delivery time is shown at checkout. Delivery time varies depending on kitchen preparation speed, traffic, and weather. While Zalopus does not guarantee an exact arrival time, our delivery partners make every effort to deliver as quickly as possible.

4 Delivery Process

Partner restaurants prepare your food and hand it over to assigned delivery partners. The delivery partner transports the order to your provided address. Customers must be available at the location; failure to receive the order may result in order cancellation without refund.

5 Delivery Area

Zalopus delivers across active serviceable zones in Chennai where partner kitchens and delivery fleets operate. Coverage boundaries may be adjusted dynamically based on demand.

6 Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate delivery addresses along with working contact numbers. Incorrect details leading to non-delivery void refund eligibility.

7 Delivery Delays

Unforeseen delays may occur due to extreme weather, severe traffic congestion, kitchen delays, or high order volumes. Zalopus is not liable for delays caused by external factors.

8 Platform Role

Zalopus operates as a technology intermediary connecting customers, restaurants, and independent delivery partners. Food preparation and delivery fulfillment are carried out by independent partners.
